Real Techniques brushes: Core collection and Expert face brush

A few weeks ago I bought the Expert face Brush and the Core collection by Real techniques because I was interested to try them out, especially the Expert face, Buffing and contour brushes. 

I bought them from iherb at a very good price, that´s why I bought both and I´m really glad a I did. Since I got them I haven´t used any other foundation brush. Both, the Expert face brush and the Buffing brush are amazing to apply foundation. They are very soft, easy to use, and they don´t shed. I use the Expert face when I´m looking for a medium to high coverage look and the Buffing one when I want a light coverage. But, to be honest, I don´t notice the difference too much so I think if you have to choose, both are equally good. 

However, because the Buffing brush comes in a set, it could be more convenient and if you own the Chanel Tan De Soleil, the Contour brush is amazing to apply it. I realized I tend to use the small pointed concealer brush in the set to conceal any blemish I have, so out of 4 brushes in the set I´m using 3 of them every day.

So, overall, I´m quite happy with these new brushes, I love the Buffing, the Contour and the Expert face brushes but I use all of them. I highly recommend them because they are excellent brushes for a very good price (even if you buy the Core collection at Priceline I´m still feel it is a very good deal).

Just to let you know, I´ve found myself using more these brushes than the Beauty Blender (I really hate to dampen it before and I don´t like how dirty it is after every use so I have to wash it and aghhhh, I prefer to use other brushes instead) so at the end of the day Real Techniques is a win win.

Skindinavia No More Shine Makeup finish spray

After I finished my Australis makeup finishing spritz that I ´ve reviewed here I decided to try the famous No More Shine from Skindinavia, used for many well recognized makeup artists and youtube gurus.I really wanted to try it, but its price made me hesitate. However I´ve been having many problems to control my shine, especially on my forehead so I thought it would be a good moment to give it a try. 

I bought the 59ml bottle from the Skindinavia website and I paid $40aud (including shipping).

I´ve been using it for about 2 months now and I think that it is really good to hold your makeup, I mean it is excellent! however it doesn´t reduce shine on my oily skin. To be honest, I can´t say I have no more shine, because if the day is really sunny, I know my forehead is going to be shiny, even if I´m using this product. Also I tried to apply it before and after foundation (with primer) but I don´t notice any significant difference. So for me, this product is the best to extend the duration of your makeup on your face but it is not the HG to control shine.

I´m not sure if it is worthwhile, although I feel that it keeps my makeup on my face slightly better than the Australis one, paying $30aud more just for a slight difference it doesn´t make sense for me. So I´m not sure if I would buy it again. I think I´m going to come back to the Autralis spray. Maybe if the Australian site had the same offers and deals than the American one I would think to buy it again, but that is just a dream right now (I emailed them to ask for their promotion but they don´t have any for the moment and they are thinking to have free shipping further). It is totally unfair, the American website has very good prices, offers and deals and we can´t buy from them because we have a horrible australian website. 

Because all the reasons mentioned above, I´m going to stay with my Australis makeup finisihing spritz for the moment.

So you can see that although I´m always using the No More shine spray, you can see my face very shiny and sometimes ok in some pictures , so the performance of this product is not what I was expecting for the price.

what make up does...Miracles!!

This is me, before and after make up, and the changes are obvious...I can´t live without make up anymore.

This is my every day make up, but I usually try to change it. I´m that kind of person who really enjoy trying new looks and playing with colors and new products. But this make up has been done with my favourite products and with some of them very cheap. I love make up but I don´t have a fortune to spend in it. I think the result is a miracle!!

I highly recommend these brands, they´re very good and accesible. Specially Benefit, it is not the most cheap but the quality is amazing compared with the price (online, not in Myer). Also you definitely need to try the make up finishing from Australis, it only costs around $10 aus and makes my make up last all day.

    I´m obsessed with make up. Since I live in Melbourne and I have the time to learn about how to create a good style and what are the secret to make a beautiful and easy make up. While I was learning about it, more I wanted to buy because one of the things is that you need good tools to do it.

Last week I was watching a tutorial video and the artist showed a palette of 120 shadows with any kind of color which was very cheap. The problem was, it is from America. I went to the web site and for my surprise everything were with discount. That was just what I needed.

I bought the shadows and a set of 10 brushes. I have to wait between 10 and 20 days to receive them and when they arrive to my hands I will write to share my opinion.

The brand is BH Cosmetics and it has very good comments about quality and prices.

I can´t wait having it with me!!

GET THE LOOK!!/CONSIGUE EL LOOK!! NYX Lipsticks

 I have been in Melbourne almost 7 months and to be honest,  I have become a fanatic of the make up. Here, all women always go everywhere with a gorgeous make up...so I had to adapt myself  to my new world. To find a good make up, in quality and price, could be very difficult sometimes, however with NYX that is not impossible. This is an American brand (Los Angeles) which offers the best quality of cosmetics at attractive prices. It is not too easy to find it in Melbourne, nevertheless you can find it in Groove Accesories, a little bit more expensive, but not too much.

 At this time, I´m going to introduce you, my new lipsticks from this brand. During this week is the Spring fashion week in Melbourne and I saw the models using purple lips that I loved it!! So, yesterday, I went to Groove Accesories in Melbourne Central (this store was with 30% off) to buy a new lipstick....Thanks to the discount I only spent $10 AUD in two wonderful lipsticks...and I want more!!!

I bought one lipstick in red tone (called Electra) and one Lip Gloss in purple tone (African Queen) and here is the photos for you!!

A simple detail!! DIY!!

During winter it´s so difficult looking beautiful and fashion. However I think with small details like nice accesories or painting your nails, you can get an atractive look. We don´t need to go to the beauty salon to get a manicure. It´s easier, faster and cheaper if you do it  yourself!!
In winter I prefer to use strong colors in my nails because we always dress in dark colors during this season. Furthermore, I always try to mix the color in my nails with the color in my clothes but if you don´t like it, you can choose french nails which is so beautiful and elegant!!

Red one is from Ice. They have a lot of colors and you can buy 3 for $10 AUD.








This is definitely my favourite. French Tip nails always is stylish. Manicure is so expensive here, so I bought this white nail color pen in my country and I love it. It is too easy to use!!

This color is sky blue. It´s from rubi but the quality is not the best. I painted my nails twice and then I applied one coat of glitter nail. I spent only $2 AUD.








I use black nailpolish  because I think it looks cool. Althoug it is not the best quality, I just use it one coat an then one coat of glitter. Thanks of that, my nailpolish stays in my nails longer.





If you can use nailpolish, try to do it. When I was in Chile I couldn´t use it because of my job but I enjoy painting my nails!! It´s no necessary to pay for it, you can do it  yourself. You can choose different soft or dark colors and it is a nice accesory for your outfit.

He descubierto la solución para ese desagradable acné que me ataca de repente y para mi gran otro problema, el brillo de mi cara.

Nivea, en su línea de productos Purfe Effect, nos presenta 2 productos que he probado y por ende recomiendo:

Si sufres de esas molestas espinillas y puntos negros, que no alcanzan a ser tan graves como para recurrir al dermatólogo, pero que son una tortura cuando nos miramos al espejo, Nivea tiene para nosotras su Gel Exfoliante. Puedes usarlo hasta 3 veces por semana, y viene a un precio muy pero muy conveniente. (en la foto es el vertical).

Una de mis mayores torturas cuando me miro al espejo o cuando me sacan una foto es el brillo en mi cara que nunca me abandona, sin embargo, después de 2 semanas de uso de la Crema Gel Antibrillo Nivea, puedo decir que este problema ya no es mi problema!! Y también, a un precio súper conveniente (horizontal en la foto).

Dentro de la misma línea Pure Effect de Nivea, se incluye un tónico y un gel limpiador suave, que hacen el complemento perfecto para nuestras rutinas de belleza.

Lo malo, es que traté de averiguar si esta línea se encuentra disponible en Chile, y no la encontré, lo que sería penoso, porque acá en Melbourne, donde por lo general los precios son 3 veces los de Chile, estos productos me costaron menos de 6 DA c/u, osea, $3000 chilenos c/u. Para mí un producto de categoría 3B...y lo mejor, los resultados los puedes comprobar!!.

A si que espero que las chilenas puedan disfrutar de los maravillosos resultados de estos productos, tal como yo, que estoy feliz sin espinillas y sin brillo permanente en mi cara.

Nivea, in its line of product Pure Effect, introduces us to 2 products that I've tried, and recommend them: If

you suffer from pimples and black spots, but it is not severe enough to go to dermatologist, but it is a torture when we look at us in the mirror. Nivea has a Dairly deep cleansing. You can use it three times per week and its price is very convenient. (the first one in the picture).

One of my main tortures when I look at myself in the mirror or when Someone takes a picture of me is the shine on my face that never leaves me, however, I have tried the Control Shine Gel Cream for two weeks and I can say it works.(third in the picture)

Pure Effect line includes a purifying toner that is the perfect complement for our beauty routines (the second one). I bought these products for less than 6 AUD each, for me, an excellent price for an excellent product you can check out for yourself.!!
